Innovation, movement, change – those are the things a revolution is made of. Visitors to the “Bynet Expo” fair in Tel Aviv were able to experience all of the aforementioned.
This year’s trade fair motto “Follow the Revolution” attracted the world’s foremost companies of their respective branches to experience innovations at Israel’s biggest ICT event.
“IT4IDF” at “Airport City” in Tel Aviv offered similar approaches towards technology. At both events, the KVM sector was represented by Guntermann & Drunck GmbH and Somet Systems, their Israeli partner.

This year’s May promised two eventful days full of innovation and change. On May 10th, Bynet Expo 2010 displayed novelties for the IT and communication sector - novelties that provide for innovation, movement, and change.
According to the motto, thousands of visitors and many exhibitors decided to “Follow the Revolution” and populated the exhibition centre in Tel Aviv.
The annual Bynet Expo is hosted by Israel’s leading system integrator Bynet Data Communications. Various lectures and discussions offered the attending experts the opportunity to exchange thoughts on what they had heard and analyze new technologies. At this event, the German KVM manufacturer Guntermann & Drunck GmbH shared a booth with their Israeli partner Somet Systems.
G&D’s fair presence in Israel started on May 9th at “IT4IDF” (short for “Information Technology for Israeli Defence Forces”) which was held at “Airport City”, a lively business centre in suburban Tel Aviv. At this fair, Guntermann & Drunck GmbH presented their solutions for the field of aviation.
David Lehana, CEO of Somet Systems, explained: “The solutions of Guntermann & Drunck substantially increase the efficiency of employers and computers. Remote computers can be accessed without any lacks in quality and power. Especially in the ATC sector issues like safety and reliability are of paramount importance. G&D’s products convince with their integrated monitoring, reporting and redundant components and also manage to meet the high demands of the Defence Forces.”
Visitors of both trade fairs were rewarded with innovative, moving products and solutions from the IT sector.
