KVM-IP-Client
KVM IP access (native and Java client)
The KVM-IP clients enable a fast and stable remote access to the servers connected to the matrixswitches. The connection is established through the external Acxos console.
On software side, either a native client (Windows; GNU/Linux) is installed on a client computer or the JAVA client is activated by the WEB interface of Acxos to establish the IP session.
The scope of delivery of Acxos includes a native client. This client can be installed or copied as often as desired. The Java client does not require any software installation on the client computer or the target computer.
After the program start and the authentication, the desktop of the remote target computer is displayed in a program window on the client computer. Neither software or hardware needs to be installed on the target computer nor special configurations like mouse settings have to be executed.
The KVM-IP clients hold the following features:
Operation
- Computer selection by GUI or OSD
- Operate target computer with its original mouse pointer and keyboard down to BIOS level
- Execute comprehensive keyboard macros on the target computers (e.g. Ctr l+ Alt + Del)
- Transfer the content of the client computer’s clipboard to the target computer
Video
- Automatic determination of video profiles for best performance and image display
- Possibility for manual adjustment of the video profiles
- Full screen mode included
- Automatic adjustment of the client window to the resolution of the target video
- Execute screenshots of the active session
Communication
- Start a textual conversation with another client using the “chat mode“
System settings
- Measuring the transmission bandwidth
- Configuration of the “mouse-break“
- Activate support of mouse gestures to operate the IP-client
Acxos-WEB interface
The WEB interface is the configuration interface of the Acxos IP user console and provides the following, selected possibilities in different sectors:
