Welcome  KVM solutions  KVM switches

KVM switches - operate several computers by one console

Make your workplace more efficient with KVM switches from G&D. The switches allow the operation of several computers with only one mouse, one keyboard and up to four screens. This peripheriesaving solution increases user-friendliness and ergonomics at your workplace. In addition, they often form the basis for setting up redundant systems in different control room applications.

The permanent emulation of keyboard and mouse signals on the"inactive" computers guarantees trouble-free operation. The settings are saved separately for each computer.

Switching is done via keys on the KVM switch, hotkeys, the OSD or externally via the RS232 interface. Depending on the version, you can switch and operate between two and 64 computers from one workstation. The number of computers to be controlled can be increased by cascading the devices. Monitor, keyboard, mouse and other peripheral devices are connected directly to the KVM switch. LEDs or displays on the screen let you know which computer you are currently on.

KVM switches are stand-alone devices, yet can be combined with our other KVM solutions. The systems differ mainly in the number of computers to be connected and the type and resolution of the video interfaces (VGA, DVI or DisplayPort). Our KVM switches are also available as multi-channel versions for workstations with two, three or four screens.

Complex applications require multiple users and administrators to work simultaneously on different computers. This requirement is met by our KVM matrix systems.
