Optimal system interoperability for an integrated broadcast world

To create optimal and efficient broadcast workflows, it is essential to seamlessly integrate all systems in use. With their KVM systems, G&D offer such a seamless integration of IT equipment into the world of broadcast.

The German manufacturers will present the market’s broadest combinable KVM portfolio at booth 1.D39, 14 – 18 September 2018. On top of this, they will also show how large, distributed IT installations can be implemented as efficiently as possible.

The KVM matrix switches ControlCenter-Digital, ControlCenter-Compact and ControlCenter-IP form the backbone of the employed computer equipment since these systems provide producers with flexible, distributed access to remote computers – pixel-perfect, without any latency or delays and with perfect video quality.

ControlCenter-IP supports broadcast workflow

G&D's KVM matrix systems can be quickly and easily linked to original broadcast equipment. At IBC 2018, G&D will exhibit a broadcast application demonstrating the interaction with systems of well-known broadcast manufacturers. With the new matrix for KVM-over-IP™, video servers and other broadcast computers can be remotely controlled from any workstation. Video walls, live cameras, joystick controllers, input devices, mixing consoles and other broadcast equipment are integrated as usual – even on remote computers. Thanks to KVM systems, producers always have the proper equipment at hand and can switch any sources to sinks while any powerful and noisy computers are removed from the working environment and operated remotely.
