Trade fair kicks off the year at the Hamburg Open

G&D presents future-oriented KVM equipment for broadcast and media technology professionals. For Guntermann & Drunck GmbH (G&D), leading manufacturer of KVM systems for broadcast, post-production and media technology professionals, the Hamburg Open on 22 - 23 January 2020 marks the start of the trade fair in 2020. Visitors to G&D's stand 318 will be able to experience first-class KVM systems and receive personal advice from KVM experts on their specific projects.

G&D - your destination for first-class KVM equipment

For more than 35 years, the name G&D has stood for high-performance KVM equipment. G&D's KVM systems are deeply rooted in the broadcast industry and enable the physical separation of computer and user. They optimize the IT infrastructure and act as a bridge between IT and broadcast technology, offering users the best possible symbiosis of both for an optimum workflow.

KVM matrix systems ensure flexible, distributed operation of several computers via several distributed workstations. This results in flexible and secure IT infrastructures that can also meet future growth requirements.

The way to even more flexibility

G&D has the broadest KVM portfolio on the market, which is compatible and can be combined with each other. The focus of individual consulting is always on the user and his requirements. Whether classic KVM or KVM-over-IP™ is required - G&D brings the best of both worlds. The systems for KVM-over-IP allow the connected computers to be switched over IP structures and significantly enhance the user-friendliness and flexibility of the applications, as existing infrastructures can be used as well, depending on the application parameters.

Existing IT installations can thus be scaled more easily, more quickly and at lower cost. The systems now come with the new configuration tool Config Panel 21 - a new, completely Java-free tool that is now even more intuitive, tidier and user-friendly. In addition to the systems for KVM-over-IP, the company is also presenting its classic matrix systems. The classic portfolio includes a wide range of compact and modular systems, which are available in expansion stages from 8 to 288 ports, depending on requirements. The systems are available in CAT or fiber versions as well as mixed versions.

All systems support loss-free transmission of video signals with a resolution of up to 4K at 60 Hz. Thanks to the absolutely reliable video quality of the transmission, computers can be operated latency-free.
