KVM training from our experts
KVM systems from Guntermann & Drunck are plug & play devices that are intuitive to operate and configure. For a more fundamental and comprehensive understanding of the products, we offer a variety of training modules that make the use of KVM solutions much more effective.
Technical trainings provide users and administrators with a deeper understanding of the products. Here, we will focus on specifications, features and characteristics of each product or product group, as well as on important aspects of both configuration and operation.
Why participate in a KVM training?
The aim of our trainings is to put administrators of our products in the position to configure and maintain the systems on their own and therefore become independent of our technical support.
After participating in one of our trainings, users are able to confidently operate our products and understand the basic technical background of our systems.
Safe operation of your system
Configuring your system on your own
Gaining a deeper understanding of our products
Individually tailored training
Guntermann & Drunck offer various training modules to make the use of KVM solutions easier and more effective for the various interest groups.
The modules include theoretical and practical aspects and always consider the questions and requirements of the individual seminar. Despite the required standardisation the seminar leaves enough room for flexibility and individuality.
User trainings primarily focus on our products and deal with issues of best practice, trouble-shooting and the individual configuration of the products.
The aim of our trainings for technicians is to put administrators of our products in the position to configure and maintain the systems on their own and therefore become mostly independent of our technical support.
Trainings for partners aim to identify the fields of application for KVM products and to understand the benefits of their use. Participants will be able to detect the potential of solutions and determine whether we are able to offer a solution fitting the request.
Topics and modules
Below is an overview of the seminar topics offered for the variety of users. If your desired seminar is not listed, please contact us to create your individual training.
The module INTRODUCTION introduces the participants to the topic. Here, our trainer will welcome the participants, ask them about their expectations, gives a short overview about the company as well as a comprehensive overview about our products and the product group the seminar focuses on. This module serves as an introduction to all following modules.
KVM – Basic Understanding
In the module KVM – Basic Understanding, we explain the basic operation of KVM technology and, in addition to a first introduction to the individual product groups, talk about relevant aspects such as interfaces and graphics formats. The module is rather theoretical.
KVM extenders & switches
The module KVM extenders and switches deals with the function and installation of devices belonging to these product groups. In addition, logical backgrounds are explained and specific products discussed. The module has both theoretical and practical parts.
KVM matrix systems
In the module KVM matrix systems we will talk about the function and installation of KVM matrix systems and introduce the hard- and software. Due to the complexitiy of the systems and their various possibilities, this module is the most comprehensive one. This module has both theoretical and practical parts.
Many options for individuality through fine structuring
These main modules are divided into several sub-modules as shown by the example of a digital KVM matrix system:
- Possibilities to expand the matrix
- Solutions in case of failures
- Rights administration and users
- and many more
This way, you will get a training tailored to your individual requirements and with topics that are important and relevant to you.
